Look at this picture.  Spend some time in your daybook describing what you see in as much detail as possible.

Then we read pages 163-165 in Pattern.  We discuss.

I give you the assignment sheet for your first paper.

We work on the verb tests, pages 33-38 in Brush Up.

Homework:

1. Begin observing something that you will describe in your first paper.  Be a "spy" and take notes.  You need to have at least one full page of notes in your daybook about the subject you are observing.

2.  Do Verb Tests #2,3 and 4  pages 34-36 in Brush Up.
